Silver Fern
The Silver Fern, or Ponga, is probably the most well known of the New Zealand Tree Ferns due to its status as New Zealand's national emblem. Its distinctive fronds, which can reach up to 4 meters in length, form a beautiful shuttle-cock shape which turn silvery-white on their under surface as they age.
